Field experiment Conon River, Scotland

Since 2005 we have conducted various manipulations of the spatial distribution of salmon nests across small streams draining to the Conon River in the Scottish Highlands to study effects on subsequent juvenile distribution and performance. This work is being done in collaboration with Simon McKelvey (Conon Fishery Board), Keith Nislow (US Forest Service) and John Armstrong (Fisheries Research Services).
